The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is proud to announce its partnership with the Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton (CCAH), and would like to invite you to the Black History Month Kick Off-Celebration to be held on February 5th, commencing at 6:30 at the Oakville Town Hall. Open to the community, this evening will feature music performances as well as exhibitions by the Oakville Museum and by the Association of African Canadian Artists. This event will also feature a poster presentation exhibit by Sheridan students enrolled in the General Education elective, Canada in the Making: Understanding Canadian History, so please join us for a lively evening of music, dialogue and exchange – and to celebrate the outstanding works of public history by our students!
