Follow the Fair Dealing Guidelines for Faculty and Staff and celebrate Fair Dealing Week by copying – fairly, of course! Why the big deal? The Copyright Act of Canada gives all Canadians a user’s right to copy through the Fair Dealing section (Section 29 of the Act to be exact). And no less than the Supreme Court of Canada strengthened Fair Dealing for all Canadians in 2004 and again for educators in 2012. That’s worth celebrating.
