The School of Community Studies and the Sheridan Gender & Sexual Diversity Taskforce are proud to welcome filmmakers, Casey Mecija and Vivek Shraya for a screening of “Family Ties”, a LGBTQ positive event that will feature their respective short films, My Father, Francis and Holy Mother My Mother. Both films explore the complex relationships between queer diasporic children and their parents. The presentation will also include songs and be followed by a Q and A.
