During the event, faculty and staff also got their first peek at Sheridan’s new visual identity which will be launched publicly on October 15, and includes a new iconic S, the “get creative” tagline, and a colour palette of double blue with an orange accent. The rebranding effort was created in tandem with Sheridan’s journey to become a university. The new look was inspired by Sheridan’s promise to bring together the worlds of imagination and intention, combine original thinking with tangible professional skills, and deliver outstanding undergraduate teaching and real-world research. Recognizing that the true Sheridan brand lives in each one of us, President Jeff Zabudsky challenged faculty, staff and students to unleash their creativity and put their distinctive stamp on our new visual identity by creating a Sheridan “S” that reflects our personality, role, or expertise. Links to these videos will be shared next week in an email update about the brand launch.
