Friday, March 13 was a fabulous day indeed! Davis campus hosted our 7th-annual Pi(e) Day and over 460 students and staff attended. Everyone enjoyed free pie, answered skill-testing questions, and enjoyed the chance to mingle with friends by the Davis staircase.
Special thanks to Sara Lee Foods for their generous donation of pies, Library and Career Services, staff tutors, student volunteers for their exceptional team work and energy, Student Union for the donation of completely bio-degradable cutlery and plates and a big thank you to “Bruno the Bear” and all faculty, staff and students who helped promote and support the event.
Approximately $207 was raised in ice-cream sales. Proceeds will be donated to Mt. Sinai Hospital, Student Emergency Fund and Sheridan Davis Bruins Toastmasters Club. Once again, thank you for your tremendous support!
