Internationalization in post-secondary information is a topic that has been debated for decades, but what does the term really mean? Our Library and Learning Services Team has developed an informative and light-hearted video that introduces numerous aspects of internationalization in an academic setting. This short video is a good introduction of the approaches and activities involved in internationalization in post-secondary education.

Preparing your submission: The essential elements of a poster presentation
Submissions to this year’s President’s Creative Challenge will be made using an academic conference format called a “poster presentation”. Presenting teams are expected to present their submissions using this format during one of our mini-conference days on either April 20th or May 1st. To help with preparation for the submissions, the PCC 2014 team has developed a short video tutorial that explains basic elements of style and guidelines for poster presentations at the mini-conferences.

PCC 2014 is about Internationalization: Envisioning Sheridan Without Borders. Sheridan’s international student population has grown to over 4,000 students strong. The challenge was put in place to acknowledge that Internationalization is much more than recruiting international students to campus, and that as a community, we can broaden our approach to internationalization through myriad ways.
