The First Year Library Team hosted its second Exam Jam on Wednesday, April 8th at both the Trafalgar and STC campuses. The event attracted hundreds of students who attended one or more of the following activities in and around the library:
- Zine Festival
- Therapy Dogs
- Tea Ceremonies
- Guided Meditation
- Caricature Drawing
- Games, snacks and more at the Exam Jam Fair
These events were offered to give students some down-time as they approach exams, but the Exam Jam’s larger focus is on helping students prepare for their exams by hosting study sessions. Thanks to a growing interest from faculty who wanted to support this, we were able to offer the following study/exam prep sessions:
- Tips for Taking Multiple Choice Tests
- MATH 14998
- Test-Taking Strategies for Second Language Learners
- CSRV 17749
- MATH 24376
- Computer Basics
- JAVA 1 & 2
- Tips for Taking Short and Long Answer Tests
- Exam Prep for Second Language Learners
