As of April 27, 2015, the keyword identifier required for our Lynda.com account will be changed to: sheridancollege.ca
How Will this Change affect Users?
- All links to Lynda.com courses and videos will need to be updated. For instructions on how to update your Lynda.com links in SLATE, please see the Tips section of the Teaching with Technology Site.
- When logging into the iOS and Android app for tablets and mobile phones (or the public Lynda.com site), select Web Portal login and enter sheridancollege.ca for the domain.
Why Change the Domain?
To sign in to the Lynda.com App for mobile phones and tablets, you are required to enter the domain for the college in order to launch our Single Sign-on system that identifies you as a Sheridan member. Currently, users are required to enter sheridanc.ca as the domain for Sheridan College. This has proved to be understandably confusing for first-time users since sheridanc.ca has never been a domain used by the college. We’re excited to be able to update this information to the college’s current domain.
