Important Changes to the PLAR Procedure

The Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition Policy and Procedure have recently been re-posted with important changes to note:

1. Any student requesting PLAR information may be referred directly to the Office of the Registrar.
   • PLAR Advisors include: the Pathway Coordinator, Admissions Advisors and Records and Registration Specialist within the Office of the Registrar (OTR)
   • Note: Student Advisors, from the Student Advisement Team in Student Affairs, are no longer part of the PLAR process (as part of the re-alignment of the work in developmental advising)

When referencing any Sheridan policy or procedure, please access the current version posted in AccessSheridan.  “Last modified” dates are also listed beside each policy and procedure.
