Student Services would like to welcome two new Student Rights and Responsibilities Officers to Sheridan College.
Stephanie Nelson-Beaver comes to us from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services; Probation and Parole Services. As a Probation and Parole Officer Stephanie has a great deal of experience balancing client needs with that of public safety, and working to liaise with families and community agencies to ensure successful compliance and good citizenship within the community.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Psychology from Ryerson University, and also holds a Master’s degree in Social Science from Linkoping University in Sweden.
David Muracco comes to us from an established career with the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and has significant experience dealing with at risk youth. His time with the Ministry was spent as a Youth Correctional Officer and as a Program Supervisor. He was extensively involved in working with at-risk youth and promoting a safe environment for all staff and residents.
David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Brock University.
