On Friday, October 25, 2013, Sheridan’s Trafalgar campus hosted Portfolio & Audition Information Sessions designed for Guidance Counsellors and Art, Media and Drama teachers. A bi-annual full day event organized by the Student Recruitment office, led by Andreas Ponvia and Susan Halliday, it was designed to promote undergraduate programs from the Faculty of Animation, Arts & Design. The agenda for the day included Faculty presentations from 20 different programs to educate on the admissions process and supplemental requirements, guided tours of labs and studios and a lunch served at SCAET.
The event attracted a total of 78 attendees from various high schools across Ontario, from Oakville to Port Elgin. Judging by the evaluations submitted by attendees, the event was a great success.
“If the goal was to put Sheridan programs in a positive light so that teachers would recommend these programs to students then this was an incredible success. There is no question that I will be highlighting Sheridan programs after this day. Well done!!”
