Sheridan is implementing its Mission Zero initiatives as we progress to an energy-efficient and zero waste campus by 2020. If you would like to help Sheridan become a sustainable campus, consider getting involved by joining the Green Team at your campus. The Green Team is made up of voluntary members from different departments and faculty. As a Green Team member, you can help raise awareness about sustainability in your own group. You can also share your ideas on how to incorporate sustainability into the daily activities in your office or classroom. Not only will your experience with the Green Team empower you to be a leader of sustainability at Sheridan, but it will also broaden your horizons as part of your professional development.
Each Green Team generally meets once a month. Below are the details for the upcoming meetings in September:
Trafalgar Green Team
Time: Tuesday, September 22, 12 – 1 pm
Location: C226, Trafalgar campus
Davis Green Team
Time: Thursday, September 24, 1 – 2 pm
Location: B232, Davis campus
HMC Green Team
Time: Tuesday, September 30, 2 – 3 pm
Location: A242, HMC campus
