With September now upon us, it is once again time to get back to wearing our traditional school colours every Friday. But wearing double blue doesn’t have to be an athletic thing.
Wearing a navy blue suit, blue tie, your favourite blue Argyle sweater, a navy blue skirt or scarf, are all great ways to show your passion for Sheridan.
“It is important that we celebrate our heritage and recognize what a special place Sheridan is,” said Ian Marley, Vice President, Student Affairs and Enrolment Management. “By wearing Double-Blue on Fridays, we are giving a nod to our unique history, and having a little fun in the process.”
“We are challenging everyone to step up and be part of the larger Sheridan community,” added Maria Lucido Bezely, Dean of Student Affairs. “You don’t have to wear athletic branded clothing on Double-Blue Friday. We are all Bruins, and you can celebrate that with any Double-Blue outfit you choose.”
