To the Sheridan Community;
I am extremely pleased to inform you that Cathy Coulthard has accepted a full time appointment to the role of Associate Dean, School of Education. To date, Cathy has been filling the role in an acting capacity under a sixteen-month secondment arrangement. We are thrilled to have Cathy join our Leadership Team in a permanent way. During her brief tenure in the role Cathy’s commitment to student success, academic excellence, and leadership has been recognized and appreciated by students, staff, and faculty alike. We have especially appreciated Cathy’s fun, energetic, and positive approach to her work. Cathy has been with Sheridan since 1998 when she started as a part-time instructor in the Early Childhood Education program. Since that time, Cathy has performed a variety of roles including: faculty member, Academic Advisor and Coordinator for the full time ECE program and for the part time ECE diploma. Cathy is a two-time recipient of the NISOD Excellence Award, and she is the 2014 recipient of the Vivienne Sager Award for College Council. Cathy will begin her new role effective Monday, September 21. Please join me in extending hearty congratulations to Cathy.
