In an effort to increase the tree canopy on campus, Facilities Services and The Office for Sustainability are pleased to announce that a tree planting event will take place at Trafalgar campus in early October. The new trees will be planted outside Annie Smith building facing Parking Lot 4. Oakvillegreen Conservation Association, a local environmental group, has been supporting Sheridan with planning, and will assist with the tree planting activity.

We are now looking for tree planting volunteers. Below are the details.
When: Saturday, October 3, 2015 – 2 to 4 pm
Where: Outside Annie Smith building in front of Parking Lot 4, Trafalgar campus
No. of volunteers required: 20
Students, faculty and staff are welcome to join. No experience is needed. A pizza meal will be provided. If you are interested, please contact Wai Chu Cheng, Sustainability Coordinator, at waichu.cheng@sheridancollege.ca .
