We are pleased to announce that the Network for Innovation and Leadership in Education (NILES) will be changing its name to Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL), effective November 11, 2013.
The departmental name change reflects Sheridan’s vision, mission and goal of providing students with a premier learning environment characterized by academic excellence and creative teaching and learning experiences.
The Centre for Teaching and Learning will continue to provide a comprehensive range of technological and pedagogical resources to ensure an exceptional learning experience for our students. We will develop resources to help professors enhance their teaching practices and collaborate with Faculties to support the enhancement of curriculum through quality assurance. As a team, we will continue to create an experience for our colleagues that is supportive, collegial and responsive to the needs of the academic communities of Sheridan.
The department will remain on the 4th floor of the SCAET building at the Trafalgar Campus. Following the launch of the redesigned Sheridan website, you will also be able to find us online at http://ctl.sheridancollege.ca.
