Sheridan’s Public Creativity group – part of the Institute for Creativity – is seeking to purchase art works from any Sheridan faculty, staff or student or alumnus in order to build our collection. Acquisitions will be based on recommendations of a peer-assessment committee made up of faculty, administrators, and an external curator, critic, artist or museum director.

Here are some guidelines for submitting your work:

  • Any medium or size will be considered. Please submit a maximum of five slides of the single artwork you are proposing for consideration along with a brief description of the work (maximum 200 words), medium, dimensions in centimeters (height, width and depth) and proposed valuation.
  • The submission should be in PDF format with all the pages integrated into one PDF. This PDF should be titled as follows: lastname_firstname_title of artwork.pdf
  • Do not submit pages in JPG, PNG, PhotoShop or any other format. If you submit more than five images, only the first five images will be viewed or your submission may not be considered.

Your PDF should be submitted to: Lavinia Jula, Office of the Dean, Faculty of Animation, Arts and Design.

Deadline: March 15, 2016
