Last month, the Rotary Club of Oakville Trafalgar donated $17,000 to Sheridan College in support of emergency student bursaries and the Sheridan Elder Research Centre. These funds were part of the proceeds raised from the Oakville Family Ribfest hosted by Sheridan in June. The Online Auction is their second biggest fundraiser with funds raised supporting many worthwhile organizations in our community like Kerr Street Ministries, Oakville Fare Share Food Bank, Children’s Aid Foundation of Halton, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Halton.
