Sheridan recently renewed its national membership to the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) and we wanted to make you aware of the benefits available to you.
The CaGBC is “a not-for-profit, national organization that has been working since 2002 to advance green building and sustainable community development practices in Canada.” The organization promotes programs such as Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Living Building Challenge, EcoDistrict, and several others.
As a Green Building Specialist national member, Sheridan employees can take advantage of the many membership benefits offered by CaGBC, such as: conference and education discounts; free webinars; and much more. This includes savings on LEED education as well as accreditation tests. Also, new in 2016 will be that employees of national member organizations will qualify for a FREE Chapter membership with CaGBC.
