It is my pleasure to share with you an update from the Office of Advancement & External Relations.
Beginning January 1, 2014, Sharon Aitken will assume the role of Director of Development & Campaign (Acting). Sharon has been a member of the Sheridan team for 13 years, lending her expertise most recently as the Director of Alumni and Annual Giving. Sharon’s significant knowledge of Sheridan, coupled with her outstanding record of securing major gifts on behalf of the organization, makes her a perfect choice for the Director of Development & Campaign. For those of you who have seen Sharon in action, her passion for connecting with donors is evident! As we advance toward the public launch of the capital campaign in support of HMC Phase II, I know that Sharon’s knowledge and expertise will be particularly helpful in ensuring we achieve our goal.
I would also like to announce that beginning January 1, 2014, Jennifer Deighton, currently a Senior Manager of Development will assume the role of Director of Alumni and Annual Giving (Acting). Jennifer has been a member of the Sheridan team for 7 years and was previously the Manager of Awards and Annual Giving. Jennifer uses her significant knowledge of Sheridan to create meaningful connections between donors and students, and her enthusiasm and passion for her work are evident in the support she has secured on behalf of our students. As we continue to grow our Alumni and Annual Giving programs, Jennifer’s broad knowledge of the department will be particularly helpful to ensuring our success.
