Sheridan’s Furniture Studio is giving away their wood briquettes for free. These wood briquettes are a good source for heating if your home has an enclosed wood stove.
The Studio has installed a wood briquetting machine that converts wood shavings and saw dust into wood briquettes. This new machine has replaced the old dust collector to eliminate any ambient dust generated during the collection and compaction process. The briquettes are in a cylindrical shape, and each is about 6 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height. These briquettes are much easier to collect and transport than saw dust. They are made up of mainly clean wood material. They can be burned as a heating fuel for homes that have enclosed wood stoves in an indoor setting. They can also be used for outdoor open fireplaces.
The Furniture Studio is producing the wood briquettes on an ongoing basis. If you are a Sheridan employee and would like to receive some briquettes, please contact Rob Diemert or Peter Fleming at the studio directly via email. Each recipient will be required to sign a waiver as well as bring a rigid cardboard container.
