Thank you to all students and employees who submitted their ideas about how to make wellness easy and fun at Sheridan.
A total of 20 entries were received for this year’s President’s Creative Challenge. The entries ranged from organized social and meditation activities, to nap rooms, common spaces and community gardens, to the use of technology and time management coaches to promote fitness or well-being, as well as various opportunities to learn about services to support wellness or ways to overcome barriers to well-being.
The organizing committee has shortlisted six finalists, who will be contacted via email this week, and invited to present their ideas to Sheridan’s president and the chairs of the organizing committee in March.
Stay tuned to the Insider over the next three weeks where we’ll highlight each of the short listed projects.
