On Monday, February 22, a large group of Grade 11 students from Monsignor Percy Johnson Catholic School’s SHSM (Specialists High School Majors) program visited Sheridan College. The students were escorted on a tour of the Davis Campus before experiencing some physical components in the Police Foundation’s curriculum. The SHSM students were introduced to the fitness test (Physical Readiness Evaluation for Police) that police candidates must successfully complete prior to application. Students then engaged in a basic defensive tactics class which was facilitated by second year police foundations students. The Grade 11 students participated in the activities with a full complement of enthusiasm and effort!
