SOURCE, Sheridan’s institutional repository, launched at the first Scholars & Creators Conference on October 28, 2015. Since then SOURCE has:
- Had over 2400 full-text downloads of work done by Sheridan faculty, staff and students
- Seen visitors from 72 countries
- Been named in the Top 10 schools for downloads from the Arts & Humanities community on the Digital Commons network
- Had downloads from institutions of higher education across the world, including the University of Toronto, Boston College, the University of Exeter, Humboldt-Universitaet zu Berlin, the City University of New York, Ghent University, Rhodes University in South Africa, and Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
The most popular download in SOURCE to date is The Politics of Podcasting co-authored by Michael Brendan Baker, Professor of Film Studies in Sheridan’s School of Humanities and Creativity. The Theatre Sheridan collection of playbills, video and cast information is consistently a high ranking download, along with other works that showcase exceptional teaching and learning.
