This past weekend, a team of Sheridan’s second year Industrial Design students won first place in Rethink Tires, a design challenge sponsored by Ontario Tire Stewardship. Students were asked to address the needs of the Artscape building on Shaw Street in Toronto using recycled tire materials. The goal of the challenge is to ignite creativity and innovative environmental landscape architecture and industrial design while showcasing the aesthetics, functionality and high performance of Ontario tire-derived products.
