Human Resources is pleased to announce that Sheridan has a new Employee Academic and Professional Credential Policy which was approved by the Executive Committee on June 2, 2016. The policy expands upon and replaces the Evidence of Academic/Professional Credentials Policy, the Faculty Credentials Policy and the Faculty Credentials for Applied Degree Programs Policy.
Sheridan’s Employee Academic and Professional Credential Policy sets out the institution’s responsibilities and codifies current practices to ensure that employees hold the proper qualifications to perform their assigned responsibilities. The Employee Academic and Professional Credential Policy will support Sheridan’s continued efforts of having accomplished academic, support and administrative employees who contribute to Sheridan becoming a global leader in undergraduate professional education and teaching excellence.
