Dear Sheridan Community,
It is with mixed feelings that I announce that Joe Varrasso will be stepping down from his role as Associate Dean, Applied Computing effective August 25, 2016.
Joe joined Sheridan as a faculty member in the School of Applied Computing in 2010. He later served as the Program Coordinator for the Computer Systems Technology – Software Development and Network Engineering program. He assumed the role of Associate Dean in Applied Computing in 2014. Under Joe’s leadership the existing degree programs in Applied Computing have experienced tremendous growth. Joe also provided leadership in rapidly developing a new family of cutting edge degree programs in Computer Science.
Joe is leaving Sheridan to be a Professor at another college. He has expressed to me how grateful he is to everyone at Sheridan for their support and how fondly he will always remember his time here. He also sends his best wishes to everyone at Sheridan.
