32-bit versions of Microsoft Office 2016, Project 2016, and Visio 2016 for Windows are now available for employees to install from AccessSheridan. These new software versions are for faculty and staff users who want to preview the software or those who feel comfortable enough to start using it for their day-to-day work.
Before downloading and installing these updated applications, please note the following:
- The College standard for the upcoming academic year is still Office 2013
- Office 2016 has not been fully tested and is not supported by IT at this time—support for Office 2016 will commence for the 2017-2018 academic year
- These installs will replace the software version you already have installed
- You cannot run Office 2016 with standalone Office 2013 applications, such as Project 2013, Visio 2013, or Access 2013
To download the software, go to AccessSheridan and follow the Software Installation link found under the Sheridan Resources heading.
