HMC – Important Orientation Event Information

Below is the most important orientation event information for new HMC students. If students are on-campus and have questions, please feel free to refer to the Welcome Desk or orientation@sheridancollege.ca. Thanks for your support – we appreciate it!

Dates/Times:

• Diploma students – August 22^nd, Finance & Accounting  [9AM-12PM]; August 23^rd, HR & Business [9AM-12PM] and Marketing [1PM-4PM]; August 24^th, Business [1PM-4PM]; August 25^th, Finance [9AM-12PM]; August 29^th, Marketing [9AM-12PM] and HR [1PM-4PM]; September 1^st, Accounting [1PM-4PM]  *students pre-register for their choice of session via access.sheridancollege.ca and participation is mandatory*
• Degree students – August 29^th [9AM-1PM] *participation is mandatory*
• Graduate Certificate students – August 31^st [5-7PM]

• Academic program session locations will be available at the Orientation Registration table and Welcome Desk, Atrium 1st floor.

• onecard Pick Up – Learning Commons
• Student Handbook  – Student Union will distribute during orientation sessions
• Laptop Readiness Sessions– Room A302, A355, A362 [LRS not available for all orientation events. Schedule available at it.sheridancollege.ca/mobile/]  
• Parking Permit Pick Up – Security [NEW: Students first order permit online at epark.sheridancollege.ca. and then pick it up at Security or Pop-Up locations]
• Locker Registration [begins August 29^th] – Security [NEW: Students must first pay for locker rental online at parking.sheridancollege.ca and then register locker with Security]
• International Welcome Session, August 31^st  12PM-2PM – Room  A145
• International Open House, August 31^st  2PM-4PM – Room  A245
