It is with mixed emotion that I announce that Andrew Ness will be leaving Sheridan to begin his new role as Dean of International at Humber College. Andrew (Drew) joined Sheridan as Director of International Services in 2012, and he has continued to be a valuable asset to both his department, and to the College as a whole, through his dedicated leadership and his steadfast vision for students.
Most recently, Drew assumed the role of Acting VP, Student Affairs and Enrolment Management while I completed a six month sabbatical, and I sincerely thank him for his leadership during that time. Recruitment for the new Director of International Services has now begun, and in the interim, I am happy to announce that Richard Finch has agreed to return as Acting Director of International Services from October 3 to December 9.
Drew’s last day will be September 23, and a reception is being planned to provide an opportunity for you to wish Drew well in his new adventure. Details to follow.
