The Centre for Equity and Inclusion is pleased to announce that Glenn Walsh has joined our team as Equity and Inclusion Specialist.
Glenn has been working in the area of human rights, equity and inclusion in post-secondary institutions since 2005, including at McMaster University, George Brown College, and University of Ottawa. In these roles they have developed and delivered training sessions and awareness campaigns; facilitated informal and formal complaint resolution processes and conducted investigations; and built relationships with stakeholders including student groups, academic and administrative units and external community members.
Glenn holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Theatre, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Social Psychology, and has completed workplace investigation training and a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Faculty of Law at the University of Windsor.
In their role as Specialist, Glenn will assist with the development and implementation of human rights, equity and inclusion related programs and initiatives, perform intake and assessment of complaints and queries and serve as a resource to the Sheridan Community on issues related to human rights, equity and inclusion.
