Sheridan is reviewing its current Academic Freedom policy as part of its routine Senate review process of academic policies. The committee wants to know how Academic Freedom affects you.
The survey link below provides a way for staff, faculty, librarians and administrators to outline anonymously their thoughts on the roles and responsibilities associated with Academic Freedom and how this important principle impacts you at the College.
The data gathered will help build understanding of the overall depth and scope of engagement with this concept at Sheridan and inform the Senate, through this policy review process, how and where Academic Freedom intersects with our everyday work and lives.
The survey will be open until October 25.
You can quit the survey at any time and need not provide any identifying information. Responses will be confidential to the Academic Freedom Policy Review subcommittee of Joan Sweeney Marsh (Chair), Maija Saari (co-Chair), Shannon Pirie and Christian Knudsen. This committee will present aggregate results to the Sheridan Senate as part of its review process.
