Sheridan has been ranked the #1 college in Canada for both applied research projects completed and number of partnerships according to Research InfoSource, Canada’s source of R&D intelligence: http://www.researchinfosource.com/top50_col.php
Research Infosource highlights completed projects and partnerships as key aspects of college research activity that reflect how successful they are in addressing and meeting their customers’ and collaborators’ needs. The rankings are based on data from the 2014-2015 academic year, and encompass both projects undertaken through dedicated research centres with federal and/or provincial funding support, as well as curriculum-based projects completed by senior students in Sheridan’s academic Faculties. Sheridan ranked first with 444 projects and 298 partners.
The wide range of research projects captured in this year’s ranking truly highlights Sheridan’s integrated approach to Scholarship, Research and Creative Activities.
On behalf of our team at the Office of Applied Research and Innovation, I’d like to congratulate all of our students, faculty and staff whose efforts are at the heart of this important achievement for research at Sheridan!
