Please join us on Tuesday, January 17 at 11 am, on the ground floor of the new Skilled Trades Centre at our Davis Campus in Brampton, as Sheridan plays host to the Honourable Deb Matthews, Minister of Advanced Education and Skills Development.
Minister Matthews is making Sheridan her first stop on a year-long tour of Ontario’s 24 colleges, to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the creation of our post-secondary sector.
Brief remarks will be delivered by Minister Matthews, Sheridan Chancellor Hazel McCallion, and Sheridan’s President and Vice Chancellor Dr. Mary Preece, with light refreshments to follow.
From 11:30 am – noon, guests are also welcome to wander through a series of exhibits that will showcase a number of special projects underway at Sheridan and the scholarly, research and creative activities of our Centres of Excellence. We hope that you’ll join us.
A similar event for students will take place at 1:30pm that afternoon, with special remarks from the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. Please encourage your students to attend and mark this very special occasion!
