Sheila Greenland, River Rocks, Acrylic on Canvas, 2017.
Please join us for the re-inaugural exhibition in the Gallery at Sheridan. The Gallery Exhibition takes place from February 3 – February 17, 2017. A reception will be held on Thursday, February 16, from 1-3:30 pm.
The Art Fundamentals program emphasizes studio work. Students produce art from the first day of class, gaining practical skills while discovering their strengths and preferences. Students also have the opportunity to explore many options for further study and careers in the visual arts.
The Art Fundamentals Program is recognized as one of, if not, the largest, longest running, one-year, stand-alone, autonomous Foundation Program in North America. It is one that many Canadian post-secondary institutions in the Greater Toronto Area are using as a model to design their own Foundation Programs. One strength and success of the almost 50-year-old Art Fundamentals Program is the various skills, backgrounds and expertise of the outstanding faculty. This exhibition is a presentation of the personal and professional of Art Fundamentals faculty, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and two- and three-dimensional design.
Please join us Thursday, February 16th, from 1-3:30 pm for our reception. Faculty and students will be in attendance.
