The Centre for Indigenous Learning and Support is proud to support Jewel’s Cause and bring their awareness campaign to Sheridan.
Jewel’s Cause was created in memory of Jewel, a precious little girl who took her own life at the tender age of 12. The organization is committed to spreading awareness of bullying and suicide prevention among youth. Their workshops will help inspire, educate, and empower.
The Centre team will be onsite selling pink shirts in support of Jewel’s Cause on the following dates:
- Davis campus: Wednesday, February 15th, 11am—3pm in the B-wing.
- HMC: Friday, February 17th, 11am – 3pm by the Living Wall.
- Trafalgar campus: Wednesday, February 22, 11am – 3pm in the SCAET atrium.
