Use Your Sheridan Credentials to Get WiFi Access when Visiting Other Colleges and Universities: Introducing eduroam
eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community. eduroam is available in more than 70 countries and 17,000 locations worldwide. Sheridan is now an eduroam partner site.
For Sheridan User Visiting Other Institutions
Sheridan faculty, staff and students can use their Sheridan credentials to get wireless network access when visiting any participating institution. Once you’re successfully connected to the eduroam wireless network, your device will be able to access the eduroam network at any participating institution without further set-up.
For Users from Other Institutions who are Visiting Sheridan
Reciprocally, the eduroam wireless network allows faculty, staff and students who are visiting from a participating institution to access wireless services at Sheridan by using the credentials provided by their home institution.
