Have you ever wanted to grow your own vegetables? Now you can! Plant a plot in Sheridan’s Community Garden! You can sign up for a plot as a group, or we can help connect you with one. No experience required, we will help you with starting your garden, maintaining it to the final step of harvesting so that you can enjoy your produce.
Being a member of the community garden will help you meet other members of the Sheridan community, help with your health and wellness and give you an excuse to step away from your desk at lunch time. We will have both ground-level and accessible beds available depending on your need, tools, access to water and excellent soil to ensure your plants grow strong and healthy.
Not interested in gardening? We need help constructing, beautifying and are always looking for plant/seed/tool donations too!
The community garden will be located at Trafalgar between A-wing and Athletics, besides the native plant garden. The design will include vegetable garden plots, a pollinator patch, meandering pathways for people to enjoy and explore and benches so you can rest, relax and meditate in a peaceful garden.
