Join Sheridan in support for recycling e-waste!
Last year, as part of Sheridan’s Zero Waste initiative, a total of 3,169 pounds of household e-waste were collected from all our campuses over two days. All items recovered through the community event were diverted out of landfill and recycled through a registered processer with Ontario Electronic Stewardship.
This year, we are offering the E-Waste Collection Days this week. The E-Waste collection bins will be available for two days at each campus: Monday and Tuesday at the Trafalgar Campus and Skills Training Centre, and Wednesday and Thursday at the HMC and Davis Campuses. If you have any electronic items at home that are obsolete and would like to dispose of them safely, you can bring them to your campus e-waste drop off site at your campus. Please refer to the poster below for the drop-off locations and the list of acceptable items.
