Clothesline Dropoff

If you have any gently used clothing items that you no longer need to keep, instead of throwing them out, please consider donating them to Clothesline. The program accepts not only clothing items but also small household items.

Below is the complete list of acceptable items:

All clothing items and footwear, bedding, fabric, sleeping bags, belts/ties, handbags, yarn, blankets, drapes, sewing patterns, hats, coffee pots/toasters, tools, pots and pans, dishes/mugs, toys, stuff animals, and games/puzzles

All net proceeds received will directly support Diabetes Canada and world-leading diabetes research, education and advocacy. Each year, the Clothesline program diverts more than 51 million kilograms of clothing from landfill sites across Canada. This translates into savings of 942 million kWh of energy – equivalent to driving a compact car more than 46,000 times around the globe – and reduces our carbon footprint by 130 million kilograms.

The Clothesline Drop Boxes are located in the Trafalgar and Davis campuses as below for the next three weeks until May 12. Remember to place your donation in a sealed bag before dropping it off.

Trafalgar Campus

  1. Outside Anne Smith Wing adjacent to Parking Lot 4 (facing AA Wing)
  2. Outside Residence Building #1 near the roundabout

Davis Campus

  1. Outside the front foyer at the Residence building
