Dear Sheridan Community,
Sheridan Facilities Projects is upgrading the north side of the Trafalgar Campus A-Wing roofing system this summer. The work will begin on Monday May 8, with an anticipated completion date of July 10. We will be removing the existing skylights and installing our new standard roofing system. The existing skylights have been a thermal issue in A-Wing for several years, and we will be removing them in order to greatly improve the insulation in the building. During the upgrade, the A-3 door closest to parking lot 4 will have to be taken out of service for safety reasons. The doors on the west and southeast side of A-wing will remain in service. Please see the attached maps outlining the alternate routes for access and the work area.
Work will be done between the hours of 6:00am to 6:00pm. A-Wing will remain open during the upgrade.
As with all construction projects, there may be some noise and temporary inconveniences during the upgrades. Facilities Projects will do our best to keep these disruptions to a minimum.
