Would you like to enjoy cycling with other Sheridan members and tour around our neighbourhood this summer? You are invite to join Tour de Sheridan on July 14. It is the first tri-campus bike event at Sheridan! Any Sheridan members, including students, faculty and staff are welcome to join this fun event. Staff members are asked to discuss their participation during the day with their supervisors for approval.
In the morning of Friday July 14, the participants will leave in groups from the three campuses between 8 to 8:30 a.m. and head for Lake Aquitaine Park in Mississauga. All groups will converge at the park at or before 10 a.m. where we will have a short break and some light refreshments before returning to campus together shortly after 10 a.m.

Why:
Cycling is fun. This is the best time of the year to enjoy the outdoor by bike. At this event, you can also get a chance to meet other cyclists in our own community. Let’s stay active and encourage each other to do exercises that promote health and wellness.

Route:
Campus Start Points: In front of “S” at Trafalgar, Davis & HMC
Meet-up Time & Location: 10 a.m. at Lake Aquitaine Park – Splash Pad (behind Meadowvale Community Centre)
Choose one of the following three routes below
- From the Davis campus to Lake Aquitaine Park and return to the Davis campus (about 10 km)
- From the HMC campus to Lake Aquitaine Park and return to the HMC campus (about 12 km)
- From the Trafalgar campus to Lake Aquitaine Park and return to the Trafalgar campus (about 18 km)
*Participants are welcome to leave from home and head for the meet-up location directly.

Sign up for one of the following bike groups below.
Davis
Recreation Bike Group: Meet at “S” – 8:15 a.m.
Road Bike Group: Meet at “S” – 8:45 a.m.
HMC
Hybrid Bike Group: Meet at “S” – 8:30 a.m.
Trafalgar
Recreation Bike Group: Meet at “S” – 8:00 a.m.
Road Bike Group: Meet at “S” – 8:30 a.m.
Own start point
Leave from home and head for the meet-up location directly.
Prizes:
The first 30 participants who registered and completed the returned cycling trip will receive a Tour de Sheridan water bottle and a pair of bike lights.
