As previously announced, Information Technology will be upgrading the employee email and calendar system starting in early August 2017. The upgrade will take us from Microsoft Exchange version 2013 to version 2016. The exact timing of these upgrades will be announced in next week’s Insider.
Getting Ready for the Upgrade – Update your Office Suite
To prepare for the Exchange server upgrade, we recommend that everyone use Outlook 2016 (Windows or Mac). Microsoft Outlook 2016 is available as part of Microsoft Office 2016.
For Sheridan Workstations: Download via Access Sheridan
Office 2016 is available for download via Access Sheridan for use on College owned/leased computers. Look for the link Software Installation under the heading Software for Sheridan Laptops & Workstations.

Outlook on the web
Outlook on the web (formerly Outlook Web App and sometimes referred to as ‘web mail’), is also a recommended choice for any platform (Windows/Mac/mobile). It works for Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Chrome and Firefox. You will be able to access Outlook on the web by going to:
Note, that until the server upgrade takes place, you will still experience the existing OWA interface.
