Sheridan is investing considerably in developing new academic and administrative software systems, and there are very aggressive plans to roll out new capability over the coming year. At the same time, we are continuing to expand our information technology infrastructure and service capability to serve the growing needs of the Sheridan community and our Vision.
In order to provide incremental focus on the various academic and administrative software systems, Brian Jervis, Director – Academic Computing Integration Strategy, will be responsible for Sheridan’s system development projects and prioritization of system activities for this year.
Pat Burns, Director of Enterprise System Services (and her team) will report to Brian for this 12-month period to ensure delivery of these initiatives and related activities. Sumon Acharjee, Chief Information Officer, will continue to be responsible for Sheridan’s information technology including deployed software systems and the operational systems and processes therein.
Pat, Brian and the Enterprise System Services team will continue to work very closely with Sumon and the Information Technology team as they have in the past. Together, the team will continue focus on delivering leading-edge technology capability for Sheridan as we pursue our vision to become Sheridan University, a global leader in undergraduate professional education.
