Truth and Illusion is a theatrical monologue presentation that examines how our lives can be guided by two separate forces: what lies in our hearts and souls (the truth) and … what we project to the outside world (the illusion). This story gathering and weaving process will take you on a thought-provoking journey as we explore the stories we tell each other and how they connect us. The members of the creative team come from Sheridan and the surrounding communities, all with diverse backgrounds, yet each with a story that speaks to society as a whole.
Directed by Story Weaver June Cupido, together with Musical Director Michael Mulrooney and Presenters: Alison Jackson, Sheridan Alumna/Student Affairs; Allison McCaughey, Sheridan Alumna, Music Theatre Performance Program; Colin Simmons, Sheridan Alumnus, Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance Program; Dan Manns, Sheridan Alumnus, Business Administration – Human Resources; Lorretta Bailey, Sheridan Instructor, Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance Program; and Eric Trask, Actor/Writer/Dramaturge.
