At the President’s Town Hall meetings in February, President Mary Preece and VP Finance and Administration Wayne Steffler shared three priority areas of focus that will position Sheridan for its future success:
1. Supporting the implementation of the Academic Plan.
2. Acting as stewards of Sheridan to ensure its long term operational sustainability.
3. Supporting our people through the People Plan.
Through Strategic Integrated Planning (SIP), Sheridan ensures that decision making and resources are aligned with Sheridan’s priorities, and that there is a data-informed approach to achieving the institution’s goals.
To that end, we are pleased to launch the new Our Priorities website, which provides more information and insight into these priority areas. On this website, you can find further information on SIP, view the Academic Plan and People Plan in their entirety, and learn about the five pillars of Sheridan’s Operational Sustainability priority: Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM), Activities-Based Budgeting, Space Allocation, Enterprise Risk Management and Technological Systems.
