After 38 years of dedicated service to Sheridan, Donna Barton has decided to retire. Her last day at Sheridan will be Friday, August 31.
Donna started at Sheridan in 1980 and spent one year in information services before becoming a secretary in the English and Media Studies department where she worked for 13 years. She then moved to Academic Services and then to the office of the Vice President Academic. In 2001 Donna became my executive assistant – a position she has held to this day.
Donna’s long standing tenure and career at Sheridan is a testament to her dedication to Sheridan and our students. I wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank Donna for all her dedication and support. Her knowledge and skills have over the years made my job so much easier.
Please drop by to say hello and goodbye to Donna from 12:00 – 2:00 pm on August 21 and enjoy coffee, tea and a piece of cake. This casual event will be held in the President’s Boardroom at the Trafalgar Campus.
