It’s Spring Cleaning time so get into your closets and see what you can part with to assist our students. “First impressions count” and “dress for the job you want” – these are all things our students hear when they are getting ready for interviews. To assist our students in their employment endeavors, Career Education is hosting a business clothing drive.
Between Monday March 17 – Monday March 26, bring your gently used and freshly clean business clothing on hangers in for donation to the Career Centres (TRA D103, Davis B230 & HMC A163) and on Wednesday, March 26, we will be hosting a clothing sale for our students. We’re looking for ladies dresses, skirts, blazers, blouses, and mens pants, jackets, suits and ties.
For $2.00 a piece, students can outfit themselves in a professional business outfit and all proceeds from the event will go to the United Way. If you have any questions, please contact Kerri Zanatta-Buehler at zanatta@sheridancollege.ca.
