Sheridan professor Dr. Wael Ramadan presented at the PMI Global Conference in Los Angeles on October 8. This annual conference is attended by over 1,500 professionals from around the globe with a focus on sharing new ideas and approaches while leading organizations to better outcomes by investing in professional development and growth.
The conference featured a variety of speakers including former NFL player Jon Dorenbos, author Cam Martson, and columnist and blogger Abigail Posner, who also hosted a presentation on Google’s Creative Think Tank for Agencies and Brands.
Dr. Ramadan presented his session “Strategic Alignment: The Art of Doing the Right Things Right” to a room of 250 participants. The session explored how “organizations need to continuously adapt and restructure in order to survive and grow. Strategic management is an art of survival and project management is an output of this creative art. It is crucial to understand the link between project management and strategic management and its implications for project managers in order to enable the successful completion of project objectives.”
The session was a success and received positive feedback from attendees.
On behalf of The Pilon School of Business, we would like to congratulate Dr. Ramadan on this tremendous accomplishment!
