This November marks the 3rd annual Canada Career Month (CCM), and Sheridan is excited to celebrate! A number of Sheridan departments, including Career Services – Student Leadership and Engagement, Counselling Services, Co-op Education, Library Services, Pilon School of Business and Sheridan Student Union, have teamed up to host a wide variety of activities, events, and workshops across all three campuses.
Please watch for the complete list of campus events, which will be posted in next week’s Insider.
The 2018 CCM theme for November 2018 is “I Know I Can Because,” which focuses on building resiliency and identifying personal strengths and resources within ourselves to help build success! Throughout the month, Canadians will be invited to share their skills on social media using the hashtag #iknowicanbecause.
CCM is a national event organized by the Canadian Council for Career Development (CCCD) and is supported by numerous organizations and volunteers across the country. The overall purpose of CCM is to create and advance discussions about the future of employment in our country.
